HOOKSETT, N.H. — Jeanette M. Davidson, formerly of Schenectad­y, passed suddenly on Saturday, January 10, 2021. Jeanette will be remembered as a kind and loving woman, who was always willing to help others. She was thoughtful and always had a way of brightenin­g a room.

Jeanette graduated from Berne-knox-westerlo, then went on to earn her B.A. from Hope College. She worked for many years at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center, before returning to school to earn her M.A. in education from University of Albany. She started a teaching career that she loved at St. John’s the Evangelist school. After many years teaching she changed careers again to work for the New York State Department of Labor in unemployme­nt. In her free time she enjoyed curling with the Albany Curling club and gardening, becoming a master gardener. She loved music, learning piano and recently taking up the Ukulele. She was active in the Reformed Church of America. She also loved a good book!

She is survived by her husband of 40 years Donald R. Davidson of Hooksett, N.H.; her daughter Nora Davidsonad­amek of Wilmington, Mass., son-in-law David Adamek Jr., and her grandsons, Gregory and Theodore Adamek; also, her sister Sharlene (John) Condemi; brother Dennis (Cindy) Gaige; brother-in-law George (Nancy) Davidson; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins. She was predecease­d by her parents, George and Pauline Gaige; her sister, Donna Porter, and brother-in-law, Gary Porter.

Due to the pandemic, services will be planned at a later date.
