Gladd, Linda L.

ALBANY — Linda L. Gladd, 74 of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Albany on April 22, 1946, and attended Colonie Schools and Mohonasen High School in Rotterdam. Linda worked for many years as an office manager for Park View Apartments, retiring in 2013. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lee Gladd; two sons, Peter (Wendy) Gladd and Larry (Eden) Gladd; and her daughter, Sherri (John) St. Louis; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings and stepsiblings, including her sister, Vivian Padgett.

Visiting hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a celebration of her life to immediately follow at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 18, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current N.Y.S. occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels. Burial will be in the spring in North Elba.
