— Patrick F. Ryan, 93 of Latham, was reunited with his beloved Virginia Mary Moore Ryan on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

Born in Brooklyn on February 14, 1927, he was the son of the late Patrick Leo Walter and Julia Marie (Sullivan) Ryan. Patrick proudly served the U.S. Navy during World War II from March 1944 to May 1946. He married the former Virginia Mary Moore on November 26, 1950, at St. James Church in Albany, and the two cherished a loving and devoted union of 68 years before her passing on July 30, 2018.

Patrick was an installer for AT&T for over 40 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Colonie Elks Lodge #2192 and the Lodge #2192 and the Latham-colonie Knights of Columbus #3394.

Patrick is survived by his four loving children, Thomas (Barbara) Ryan, Karen (Dr. Michael) Sbuttoni, Kathleen (Gary) Franko and Lori (Mark Edgar) Ryan; and his brother John Ryan. He also leaves behind his seven cherished grandchild­ren, Michael and Matthew Ryan, Michele Thompson, Michael and Ashley Sbuttoni, Jason and Brendan Franko; as well as 14 adored greatgrand­children. He was predecease­d by his son Michael Ryan; his twindaught­ers, Laurie and Lorraine Ryan; and his sister Anne Marie Joyce.

The Ryan family would like to thank Brookdale Senior Living in Clinton, N.Y. for all the love, care and support they provided to our father in the last few years of his life. We would also like to thank Dr. Dulkin and Ryan Patrick at St. Elizabeth’s along with their staff, for all the care and compassion they provided to our father in the final days of his life.

Patrick’s Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd., Latham with Reverend Brian Kelly officiatin­g. The family wishes the celebratio­n of Mass to be private for family only. Entombment will take place next to his wife in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
