Orlando Bloom is one emotional boyfriend.

The actor said he was “one proud partner” after watching Katy Perry’s performance during the “Celebrating America” inauguration night primetime TV special on Wednesday.

The chart-topping singer and “American Idol” judge performed her hit 2010 song “Firework” during the international telecast, which was hosted by Tom Hanks hours after President Joe Biden was sworn in.

Perry, dressed in all white, sang the tune as fireworks shot through the night sky as a backdrop.

Once the performance was finished, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star — who shares daughter Daisy Dove with the 16-time Grammy Award nominee — shared his thoughts on the momentous experience.

“One day our little girl will grow up and see her mother play her part in a moment in history that we hope will heal, we hope will unite, we hope, we love,” Bloom wrote in and Instagram caption. “One proud partner here with a tear of joy us.”

The couple welcomed their first child together, Daisy, back in August.

Bloom also shares 10year-old Flynn Christopher with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Gillan reprising role as Nebula in Thor flick

Karen Gillan is about to be out of this world again.

The Scottish actress shared in a recent Instagram Story that she’ll be reprising her Marvel Cinematic Universe role as Nebula in the highly anticipated “Thor: Love and Thunder,” Digital Spy reported.

The development came after the “Gunpowder Milkshake” star, 33, shared that she’d landed in Sydney, Australia, where the superhero flick due out next year, directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi, is filming.

Gillan, also a writerdirector, then opened up her Story to a recent trend on Instagram in which a user prompts followers to make assumptions about them, which they’ll confirm or correct.

After receiving a submission that said the “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” actress was “wearing a wig ” to prepare for a role, Gillan replied: “I’m not, this is the REAL DEAL. This is my hair. I cut it the other day in preparation for Nebula, so that we don’t have to get so much hair into the bald cap because I have so much hair, it’s unbelievable. It’s just so thick.”

Gillan debuted as Nebula in 2014’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and reprised the role in that film’s 2017 sequel, as well as in 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame” the following year. —Tribune News Service
