COHOES — Roselois (Tessier) Myers-trombley, 94 of Cohoes, passed away with family at her side on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Bishop Care Center, in Bishop, Calif.

Roselois, known as "Ro" to all her friends and family, was born in Cohoes on March 16, 1926, the daughter of Louis A. and Rhea (O’connor) Tessier. A graduate of Cohoes High School, Ro attended The College of Saint Rose and worked for a time as an administra­tor at the State Office in Albany before marrying Edward B. Myers in 1947.

Ro and Ed were the proud parents of three sons, Jim, Tom, and Gary Myers, and lived happily in both New York and Connecticu­t until Ed’s untimely passing in 1969. After going back to work again for a time in retailing, Ro married high school friend Bill Trombley of Cohoes in 1971 and stepped in as a new mom to his three children Christine, Billy, and Ellen, whose mother had passed on some time before. After a long, happy and prosperous time together they retired to Daytona Beach, Fla., and lived well into their 90’s. Ro was predecease­d by both of her husbands, her much loved younger brother Lou Tessier; and her stepchildr­en, Billy Trombley, and Ellen Hardy. Survivors include her sons, Jim (Marsha Lamb), Tom (Victoria Kennard), and Gary (Karilyn Kakudo) Myers; her stepdaught­er Christine (Trombley) Cashin; and her loving friend Suzanne (Connor) Myers.

Ro was also the proud grandmothe­r of 16 grandchild­ren and (at last count) 25 great-grandchild­ren. Ro did her best to pass on her values of hard work, honesty, tolerance, fairness,
