Randle’s triple-double paces Knicks to win
NEW YORK — Julius Randle had his third tripledouble of the season with 18 points, 17 assists and 10 rebounds to lead New York past Orlando.
Alec Burks scored 21 points to help the Knicks improve to 21-21. Reggie Bullock added 20, RJ Barrett
had 17 and Frank Ntilikina 13.
Evan Fournier scored 23 points but turned the ball over on Orlando’s final possession as the Magic dropped their ninth straight.

Golf: Matt Jones’ opening round at the Honda Classic was remarkable. Jones tied the course record on a typically windy day at PGA National with a bogey-free 9-under 61 giving him a three-shot lead. He matched the mark set by Brian Harman in the second round in 2012 . ... Benjamin Herbert shrugged off a bogey on his first hole to card a 7-under 64 for the first-round lead at the European Tour’s Kenya Open.
MLB: New Mets pitcher Carlos Carrasco strained his right hamstring during conditioning after throwing one inning of batting practice and seems certain to miss the start of the season . ... The New York Yankees and Mets will be allowed to start the season with a maximum 20 percent capacity. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced at a news conference that the Yankees could have up to 10,850 fans for their April 1 opener against Toronto at Yankee Stadium and the Mets could have up to 8,384 for their April 8 home opener against Miami at Citi Field. Attendees will have to provide proof of immunization against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test.
