WATERVLIET — Elizabeth "Beth" A. Proctor-erby O’hare, 64, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at her home in Watervliet.

She was born in Richmond, Va. on February 2, 1957, the daughter of the late Albert T. Erby and Patricia E. Proctor. Beth moved with her family to Watervliet and was a 1975 graduate of Watervliet High School. She worked with her husband Mike in the family business: Accurate Refrigerat­ion Design. She also was a school bus driver for the North Colonie School District. Beth lovingly made homemade candles and cosmetics for friends and relatives who treasured these handcrafte­d gifts.

Together, Mike and Beth designed and built their home in Watervliet. Beth’s lovely touches are visible in every room. She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers in the yard around their pool. She enjoyed trips to her home in Florida and loved to clean and keep her house pristine. Her canine best friends were Kashmere and Emma. The delight of her life was becoming a grandmothe­r to Jason Keith.

She was the beloved wife of 37 years of Michael P. O’hare; loving mother of Jason Robert O’hare of Guilderlan­d; adored grandmothe­r of Jason Keith O’hare of Watervliet; sister of Anne (Kenneth) Holder of Harriman, Tenn. and the late David Erby and Pam Karabin; and daughter-inlaw of Audrey E. O’hare of Watervliet and the late J. Donald O’hare. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenienc­e of the family.
