D’aloia, Frank A.

-

STILLWATER — Frank A. D’aloia, 67, died suddenly Saturday morning, April 10, 2021, at Samaritan Hospital, after being stricken at home.

Born in Troy on February 2, 1954, Frank was the class president and voted the class flirt for Class of 1972 graduates of Stillwater Central School. In the early 1970s, Frank started his lifelong occupation in auto body repair, first working with the late Eddie Russell, then began his own business, Frank D’aloia and Son’s Auto Body at Snows Corners (Route 76). He, like his former mentor, Eddie, became a go to guy for thousands of auto body repairs. He worked hard, took immense pride in his work, and was rewarded by his customers with referrals and repeat business. Frank worked as long as possible, until medical problems prevented him from performing his duties. Frank is now in the safe company of his late dad, Frank Sr., who the young son missed immensely.

Years ago, Frank loved riding his various motorcycles, and later in life, Hot Rods were his niche, and attended many yearly car shows in the Northeast.

Frank loved his customers and their families, enjoyed a stellar reputation of a man who "got it done," but most of all, was happiest when in the company of a gal he once gave a ride home to, his wife of 40 years, the former Brenda Fellows.

Survivors in addition to his loving life partner Brenda include two proud sons, Frank Anthony D’aloia of Cohoes and Jason D’aloia of Stillwater; along with sisters, Beth Kahabka, Meg Brown, Rosie Villano and Patricia Morris; nieces, nephews and a whole load of friends and customers.

A celebration of Frank’s life, will be held sometime in the future months, an event he would never want to miss. Remembrances may be made to the Arvin Hart Volunteer Fire Dept, in appreciation for Arvin Hart’s dedication and assistance to the Stillwater community.
