Schumack; and sister to Robert, William, Donald, and Baby Jean Schumack.

Joyce grew up in Hazleton, Pennsylvania and enjoyed being a majorette in high school and fell in love and married Alfred (Al). Joyce and Al were a dream team in everything from raising their family, traveling the world during their military life to settling down in Saratoga County. Joyce had a vision to open Mister V’s Boutique and Jocelynn’s Bridal stores in Menands, Albany, Clifton Park, Troy and Saratoga Springs. The stores were like their second home. After retirement, Joyce enjoyed extensive travel with her husband and dropping in to see friends at the Casino/ Racino. Joyce was strong in her faith and was a devout Catholic all her life. She was an active communicant of Corpus Christi Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.

Above all, Joyce relished in the time spent with her family. Even when her children were all grown, they knew mom and dad’s house was the place to be and would always be welcomed with open arms. She loved hosting family get togethers, holidays, or even big Sunday dinners.

Joyce’s loving and caring nature will be remembered by her dear children: Jocelynn Veet- Spensieri, Jody (Rodney) Wheeler, Joann (Ron) Taylor, Alfred (Maryann) Veet, Alan (Deanna) Veet, Joelle (Alan) Plantone; grandchildren Gianni and Armani Spensieri, Julia (Luke) Sanders, Amy (Alex) Sutton, Jennifer (Beau) Milo, Renée (Ornick) Linton, Daniel (Danielle) Veet, David (Ariela) Veet, Christopher and Ashley Plantone; great grandchildren Clara, Stella, Gianna, Johnathan, Aubrey, and Sienna and little sister on the way. She is also survived by some incredibly special sister-in-laws from her husband’s side as well as several loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately upon request of the family.

Joyce will join her husband in rest in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, Gift Processing Center, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205

We would like to give special thanks to Saratoga Hospital and especially the D2 Staff.

With confidence, the family has placed their trust in the loving care of the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, and they encourage you to view and leave messages on Joyce’s Book of Memories at www. Townleywheelerfh.com
