Through the vagaries of movie release scheduling — especially over the past year — this week’s big openings include both “Army of the Dead” and “Those Who Wish Me Dead.” In addition, there’s also the debut of “Spiral: From the Book of Saw” with Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson, the non-sequel, nonreboot, ninth installmen­t in the serial killer horror franchise,

Aw, wrong movie quiz, buddy; this one's all about movies with "dead" in the title. Although, Ethan Hawke, one of the stars of the 1993 based-on-fact survival thriller "Alive," does figure into two of the movies on the "dead list" below.

In “honor” of this coincident­al timing, we set the latest movie quiz in the land of the dead — movies with the word “dead” in their titles, that is. We’ll give you the year it came out and the names of three of its cast members; you guess the movie. As a bonus, we’ve got 15 questions instead of the usual 10, because, hey, we’ve got the room.

And as a final note, don’t expect any of the George Romero-directed zombie classics to appear here. Only the most diehard fans would recognize the actors’ names. No “Evil Dead” references either because the name Bruce Campbell would be a dead giveaway. We’ll stop now.

(P.S. The 1990s seemed to be a particular­ly good time for the dead, especially 1995.)
