Rose was an angel to everyone whose life she touched, supportive and loving. She will sorely be missed by all, especially the church ladies, her lifelong Hudson gang, and card playing friends, along with the Vernon, Levine, Alexander, Goldstein, Sheffer, Flood, Hicks, and Monaco families.

A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday in St. Michael’s Church, Williams Road, North Greenbush, at 11 a.m. Calling hours will be held at the church on Wednesday prior to the Mass from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson. MENANDS — Theodore "Ted" William Parker, 84, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 2, 2021.

He was born in Albany on September 8, 1937, the son of the late Irving and Emily Kimball Parker. He was raised and educated in Troy and has resided in Menands for most of his life. He was employed by the Dutch Village Apartments in Menands as a groundskee­per for over 15 years and also worked for many years for the William Schaefer family.

Ted enjoyed bowling, the N.Y. Times crossword puzzles and being outdoors especially in the Adirondack­s. He was the beloved husband of 48 years of Jean M. Dominski Parker; devoted father of Valecia M. Parker of Menands and Nicholas J. (Adrienne) Parker of New Haven, Conn.; proud "Poppy" of Jonathan, Theo and Felix Parker; brother of Penny Rosen of North Greenbush and the late Willard, Madeline, Eleanor, Cecilia, Irving, Elaine, Worthingto­n, Joseph, Marjorie and Ursula. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenienc­e of the family.
