COHOES — Anne Kondrat, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at her niece’s home in Binghamton.

Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Dimitri and Mary Plaskon Kondrat. Anne was a longtime resident of Cohoes and attended the Cohoes Schools. She was a devout and active communican­t of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church where she volunteere­d in many capacities. She had been employed for many years at N.Y.S. Dept. of Health in Albany until her retirement. She was also an accomplish­ed skier, skiing and traveling the world with her sister, sharing many memorable destinatio­ns.

Anne is survived by her nephew, Nicholas (Susie) Kulasza; her nieces, Catherine (Philip) Stephens, Maria (William) Dollard and Kyra (Michael) Newsom; her grandniece­s and grandnephe­ws, Alexander, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Philip and Kendall; as well as her godson, Tim Geleta. She was predecease­d by her twin sister, Pauline Kondrat and her sisters, Mary (the late Nicholas) Kulasza and Dorothy (the late Michael) Susko.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 67 Saratoga St., Cohoes on Friday, October 8, from 10-11 a.m. with a divine liturgy to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Boght Corners.
