BRUNSWICK — Mary Grace Keegan Bulger entered into eternal life on October 3, 2021, four days before her 94th birthday. Known as Grace, she was born in Troy, the daughter of the late Thomas Francis (Frank) and Marie Mcgrath Keegan and the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Bulger, who predecease­d her in 2002. She was also predecease­d by her brother, Thomas Francis Keegan Jr.

The 1945 valedictor­ian of Catholic Central High School, she graduated cum laude from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York City and received a master’s degree in education from Russell Sage College in 1971. She taught at School 18 in Troy for over twenty years, retiring in 1992. Grace was a communican­t of Our Lady of Victory Church. She also volunteere­d at the Friday Rosary Group at Van Rensselaer Manor for many years, and enjoyed researchin­g genealogy on the Keegan, Mcgrath and Bulger families.

She was the devoted mother of Thomas F. Bulger, Michael E. (Nancy Goldfarb) Bulger, Steven J. (Mary Beth) Bulger, Grace Marie Phelan and Matthew K. (Barbara) Bulger; beloved grandmothe­r of Claire, Christophe­r (Asuka Tonami), Laura, Jack, Kevin, Gregory and James Bulger, and Daniel Phelan; and proud greatgrand­mother of Gina Bulger. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Peggy, Peter, David, and Jeffrey Bulger, Mary Ann Morris, Tim Strife, Cyndi Mclaughlin and Bonnie O’connor.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 North Lake Ave., Troy with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 12 p.m. Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
