Simmons kicked out of practice, suspended

Ben Simmons was kicked out of practice and suspended by the Philadelph­ia 76ers for their season opener due to lack of effort during practice drills.

Simmons had recently rejoined the team after missing training camp and most of preseason after his offseason trade request. “At this point, I don’t care about that man,” 76er Joel Embiid said. “Honestly, he does whatever he wants.”
