Harris withdraws pursuit of Mets’ baseball ops job

The Mets interviewe­d Giants GM Scott Harris for the role of president of baseball operations, sources said. But after a chat with owner Steve Cohen, Harris withdrew his name from considerat­ion and decided to stay with the Giants.

Former manager Bruce Bochy is said to be under considerat­ion for the job . ...
