Herbert rallies from 3 down to win Bermuda
SOUTHAMPTON, Bermuda — Lucas Herbert had two birdies during the toughest, wind-blown stretch of Port Royal and held steady to the end Sunday for a one-shot victory in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
Herbert held off Danny
Lee (71) and Patrick Reed (65), who made four birdies over his last six holes.
Herbert’s first PGA Tour victory sends him to the Masters for the first time. He finished at 15-under 269.
Taylor Pendrith, who started the final round with a three-shot lead, closed with a 76 to tie for fifth.
Scott Stallings started 14 shots behind but pulled to within two before running out of birdies. Stallings still shot a 62 and went from a tie for 50th to a tie for fifth.
