Mark Makhatadze, Shenendehowa boys’ soccer: Had a goal and an assist as the Plainsmen pushed past Niskayuna 3-1 in the Class AA semis.
Paul Abbatiello, CBA boys’ soccer: Scored in overtime to lift the Brothers to a 1-0 triumph over Guilderland in the Class AA semifinals.
Kyle Almeida, Averill Park boys’ soccer: Had a goal in a 2-1 win over Albany Academy and a 2-0 title win over La Salle. The Warriors won their first Class A section title since 2013.
Andrew Kraszewski, Mechanicville boys’ soccer: Recorded one goal and one assist to help the Red Raiders to a 2-1 overtime win against Broadalbin-perth in the Class B semifinals.
Justin Manion, Mechanicville boys’ soccer: Registered a goal in overtime to propel the Red Raiders past Broadalbin-perth 2-1.
Eli Charlebois, Maple Hill boys’ soccer: Scored one goal and added one assist as the Wildcats defeated Waterford 2-1 in the Class C semis.
Georgia Greene, Shenendehowa girls’ soccer: The senior captain assisted on Emily Silva’s goal in a 1-0 semifinal win over Bethlehem and scored 81 seconds into the Class AA final — on an assist from Silva — in a 1-0 Class AA title win over Columbia.
Brigid Duffy, Queensbury girls’ soccer: Scored in a 4-3 semifinal win against Burnt Hills and tallied a goal in the 66th to lead the Spartans to a 2-1 Class A championship victory over Averill Park.
Gianna Viscusi, Schalmont girls’ soccer: Netted three goals in a 4-1 Class B championship victory over Mechanicville.
Katie Krohn, Schoharie girls’ soccer: Delivered five goals and two assists in a 9-1 decision over Stillwater and tallied both goals in a 2-0 victory against Maple Hill.
Addyson Galuski, Waterford girls’ soccer: The sophomore poured in four goals in a 6-1 decision over Bolton/warrensburg.
Donald Jones, CBA football: The sophomore rushed for 173 yards and one touchdown to go along with 82 yards passing and two touchdowns, helping the Brothers rally for a 33-27 victory against Shenendehowa.
Zion Freeman, Queensbury football: The senior ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns as the Spartans defeated Niskayuna 27-7 to secure the Grasso Division’s No. 2 playoff berth.
Jake Sparks, Hoosick Falls/tamarac football: Completed 9-of-17 passes for 181 yards and five touchdowns, helping the Wildcats beat Hudson 47-12 in the Class C quarterfinals.
Giovanni Dicaprio, Fonda football: The junior ran for 38 yards and one touchdown, caught two passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns, made five solo tackles (three for loss) and registered a sack as the Braves defeated Watervliet 68-8 in Class C quarterfinal play.
Joe Tomlin, Voorheesville football: Rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns, both coming in the second quarter, in leading the Blackbirds past Cobleskill 21-0.
Gitch Hayes, La Salle boys’ cross country: Earned the title at the Colonial Council championships at Spa State Park in a time of 15 minutes, 14.7 seconds.
Julian Franjieh, Niskayuna boys’ cross country: Captured individual honors at the Suburban Council championships for the second straight year, this time posting a winning time of 15:16.99 at Spa State Park.
Emily Bush, Saratoga Springs girls’ cross country: Took home top honors at the Suburban Council championships with a time of 17:19.03.
Alycia Hart, Saratoga Springs girls’ cross country: Finished second at the Suburban Council championships in 17:32.08.
Mariem Sayahi, Voorheesville girls’ cross country: Earned the Colonial Council title in a time of 18:13.3.
Molly Miller, Shenendehowa field hockey: Scored the lone goal with 12:47 left Sunday to lead the Plainsmen past Guilderland 1-0 in the Section II Class A final.
Grace Todd, Burnt Hills field hockey: Tallied a goal in the second quarter, lifting the Spartans to a 1-0 victory over top-seeded South Glens Falls for the Spartans’ ninth straight Class B title.
Emma Mccart, Hoosick Falls field hockey: The junior star elevated her goal total to 41 this season with three goals in the Panthers’ 3-0 Class C championship win against Johnstown.
Loren Cuomo, Mohonasen/schenectady girls’ tennis: The senior captured her fourth Section II singles title and finished fifth in the state tournament.

Averill Park boys’ soccer: One year removed from going winless, the Warriors earned the program’s first Section II Class A title since 2013 with a 2-0 victory over top-seeded La Salle.
