COEYMANS — Martin C. Lombardo, 67, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 1, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital. He was born in Albany on October 15, 1954 to the late John and Rosalind Tiedemann Lombardo.

Growing up he was an altar boy at St. Patrick’s Church in Ravena. Marty was a chemical operator and retired from Sabic Innovative Plastics in Selkirk. He was a member of the Coeymans Volunteer Fire Department, the Coxsackie Yacht Club, and the Halfway House softball team. He enjoyed watching the Yankees and the Redskins. He loved his pool and had a green thumb when it came to flowers and plants. Driving Miss Daisy in his red 66 Chevelle SS always put a smile on his face.

Marty especially loved his family. In addition to his parents, he is predecease­d by his brother, John J. "Lumpy" Lombardo, Jr.

Marty is survived by his beloved wife, Lynda Persico Lombardo; and his daughters, Deana (Jesse), CJ (Albert), and Samantha (Ashley). Papa to Natalie, Mary and Joseph. His siblings, Joseph (Ashley) Lombardo and Deborah Wulff; sister-in-law Sandra Lombardo; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday November 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. He will then be buried in Grove Cemetery, Coeymans.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either St. Patrick’s Church, 21 Main Street, Ravena, NY 12143 or to the Ravena Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 144, Ravena, NY 12143.
