Quickley rallies Knicks past Pacers

Immanuel Quickley came off the bench to score 16 points, and the New York Knicks limited the Indiana Pacers to two baskets in the fourth quarter to rally for a 92-84 victory on Monday night.

Kemba Walker also had 16 points for the Knicks, but he didn’t play in the fourth when the reserves and especially the defense won it for New York. Derrick Rose added 14 points.

New York ended a three-game home skid by outscoring the Pacers 23-10 in the final 12 minutes. Indiana shot 2 for 20 in the fourth period.

Malcolm Brogdon had 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Pacers. Domantas Sabonis added 21 points and 15 rebounds, while Caris Levert scored 17.

The Knicks trailed 74-69 after three before Quickley tied it with the first five points of the fourth.

Celtics 98, Cavaliers 92:

Jayson Tatum scored 23 points and Dennis Schroder had six points in the final 76 seconds as Boston split its two-game set. Al Horford had 17 points and nine rebounds, and Schroder and Marcus Smart each scored 14 as Boston won for the third time in four games. Cleveland rookie Evan Mobley missed all 11 of his field-goal attempts and finished with one point, nine rebounds and five assists before leaving in the fourth for unknown reasons.

Hawks 129, Magic 111: Trae Young and John Collins each scored 23 points and Atlanta won its second straight. Cole Anthony had 27 points and 11 assists for Orlando, which has dropped three straight and five of six. Shenendeho­wa graduate Kevin Huerter had four points, five rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes of action for Atlanta.

Wizards 105, Pelicans 100: Spencer Dinwiddie scored 19 of his 27 points in the second half, and Washington erased a 19-point deficit for its fifth consecutiv­e victory. The Wizards (10-3) are off to the franchise’s best start in 47 years.

Kings 129, Pistons 107:

Buddy Hield scored 22 points and Tyrese Haliburton added 17 points and 10 assists as Sacramento ended a four-game skid.

Mavericks 111, Nuggets 101:

Kristaps Porzingis had 29 points and 11 rebounds, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 13 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and Dallas rallied to the victory.

Grizzlies 136, Rockets 102: Ja Morant had 22 points, six rebounds and six assists, Jaren Jackson Jr. added 18 points and Memphis handed Houston its 12th straight loss.
