A look at the week’s top performers:

Mackenzie Hart, Saratoga Springs girls’ cross country: The senior finished fourth Saturday at the Federation Meet at Bowdoin Park, covering the course in 18 minutes, 17.20 seconds and helping the Blue Streaks cruise to the team title as well.

Ella Kurto, Saratoga Springs girls’ cross country: Finished sixth (18:25.60) at the Federation Meet.

Sheridan Wheeler, Saratoga Springs girls’ cross country: The junior crossed the line in 18:37.60 to finish ninth at the Federation Meet.

Anya Belisle, Saratoga Springs girls’ cross country: The sophomore completed the team scoring for the Blue Streaks as she posted a 11th-place finish (18:43.90) at the Federation Meet.

Rachel Miller, Mohonasen girls’ cross country: The freshman posted a time of 19:09.70 to finish 21st at the Federation Meet.

Gitch Hayes, La Salle boys’ cross country: The University of North Carolina-bound star followed up his win last week in the Class B state championsh­ips by posting a victory at the Federation Meet in a time of 15:34.

Ryan Bush, Saratoga Springs boys’ cross country: The senior turned in another superlativ­e performanc­e at the Federation Meet, finishing fifth in a time of 16:00.50.

Julian Franjieh, Niskayuna boys’ cross country: Posted a 10th-place finish (16:18.10) at the Federation Meet.

Peter Fulgieri, Burnt Hills boys’ cross country: In helping the Spartans capture the team championsh­ip at the Federation Meet, Fulgieri was the top finisher for the team as he posted a time of 16:33.60, finishing 18th overall.

Nate Davis, Columbia boys’ cross country: The senior crossed the line in 21st place (16:35.50) at the Federation Meet.

Jaylen Riggins, CBA football: The senior running back/linebacker caught three passes for 83 yards and one touchdown to go along with 16 tackles in the Brothers’ 51-7 Class AA state quarterfin­al loss against Carmel.

Rocco Mareno, Burnt Hills football: Registered a strip-sack, scooping up the fumble and dashing 25 yards for a touchdown as the Spartans suffered a 48-14 setback against Somers in the Class A state quarterfin­als.

Frank Broadhurst, Ravena football: The junior running back carried the ball 27 times for 240 yards and three touchdowns in helping lead the Indians to a 39-21 triumph over Peru in the Class B state quarterfin­als.

Owen Sherman, Schuylervi­lle football: The senior quarterbac­k completed 8 of 9 passes for 190 yards and five touchdowns as the Black Horses blasted Ogdensburg Free Academy 52-0 in the Class C state quarterfin­als.

Ryan Dow, Schuylervi­lle football: Hauled in seven passes for 187 yards and five touchdowns in a 52-0 verdict over Ogdensburg Free Academy in the Class C state quarterfin­als.

Matt Conlin, Greenwich football: The sophomore ran for 204 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Witches produce a 41-20 victory against Tuckahoe in the Class D state quarterfin­al.

Jesse Kuzmich, Greenwich football: Rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 58 yards and two touchdowns in the Witches’ 41-20 win against Tuckahoe.

Carter Durivage, Columbia boys’ volleyball: Produced 19 kills and 16 digs as the Blue Devils finished 1-3 in pool play at the Division I state championsh­ips.

Henry Heeps, Columbia boys’ volleyball: The junior outside hitter, who was named the Sportsmans­hip Award winner at the Division I state tournament, posted 20 kills and 15 digs during pool play.

Carlie Rzeszotars­ki, Burnt Hills girls’ volleyball: The senior outside hitter delivered 30 kills Saturday during pool play and recorded 18 kills in the Class A final as the Spartans defeated Walter Panas 3-0 to capture the state championsh­ip.

Callie Chevalier, Burnt Hills girls’ volleyball: Posted 25 kills in pool play and added 15 kills and 15 digs in the Class A state final as the Spartans prevailed 25-8, 25-18 and 25-13 over Walter Panas.

Danielle Debonis, Burnt Hills girls’ volleyball: Tallied 58 assists during pool play and 28 assists in the Class A state final to help the Spartans earn the championsh­ip.

Julia Reedy, Galway girls’ volleyball:

Registered 18 kills and 21 digs during pool play and tallied 13 kills in the Class D state final where the Golden Eagles fell in four sets against Mount Academy.

Amber Kolpakas, Galway girls’ volleyball: Recorded 10 kills in the Class D state final in a four-set setback against Mount Academy.

Jayden Devellis, Galway girls’ volleyball: The junior libero finished with 41 digs in pool play and added 26 digs in the Class D state final.

Anna Flanders, Albany girls’ swimming: The sophomore collected her first state diving title at Ithaca College Friday, scoring 509.70 points — two points better than runner-up Victoria Wang (Manhassett).

Rachel Love, Saratoga Springs girls’ swimming: The senior finished second in the 500 free (4:53.81) and sixth in the 200 free (1:53.50) at the state championsh­ips.

Ally Frame, Burnt Hills-scotia girls’ swimming: Finished fifth in the 100 backstroke (56.61) and helped the 200 medley relay team collect a second at the state championsh­ips.

Katherine Ferreira, Bethlehem girls’ swimming: The sophomore produced a pair of sixth-place finishes at the state championsh­ips in the 200 individual medley (2:09.11) and 500 free (5:05.80).

Maya Earleywine, Bethlehem girls’ swimming: The senior finished sixth in the state diving with 458.05 points.

Kendall Gilbert, Burnt Hills-scotia girls’ swimming: Gilbert, a sophomore, posted an eighth-place finish in the 100 breaststro­ke at the state championsh­ips.

Team of the week

Saratoga Springs girls’ cross country: The Blue Streaks easily conquered the Bowdoin Park course Saturday at the Federation Meet, placing five runners in the top 11 out of 285 runners to score 28 points and capture the team title.
