— Kevin J. Carmody, 79, passed away on December 18, 2021.
Born in Albany to William and Annabelle Carmody, Kevin was one of three children. Kevin was a threesport athlete, excelling in basketball. A graduate of Siena College, Kevin earned his accounting degree and began his career at Peat Marwick. After taking a job at Pratt & Whitney in Hartford, Conn., Kevin eventually moved on to work for Bristol Myers in Manhattan and settled in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. where he raised his family and stayed for 25 years. He departed from Bristol Myers to pursue his passion for golf and opened a golf store in White Plains, N.Y. He gained many friendships through the game of golf. Kevin was also passionate about Corvettes and classic cars. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Kevin is survived by his sons, Christopher Carmody (Laura Shemonsky), and Terry (Connie) Carmody; his daughters, Maureen (William) Chimento, and Leigh (Ronald) Parker; and his beloved grandchildren, Kailee Chimento, Mackenzie Chimento, Christopher Carmody, Caroline Carmody, and Olivia Carmody. Kevin was predeceased by his brothers, Brendan Carmody and Brian Carmody.
A celebration of Kevin’s life took place at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, N.Y. on Tuesday, December 21, from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 559 Pelham Manor Rd, Pelham, N.Y. on Wednesday, December 22, at 10 a.m.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge, shopping and was an avid reader. Carole also relished traveling in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean with her family and friends.
Carole is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joseph Drenchko; daughter, Darja (Bill) Nevits of Hudson, Mass.; son, Peter (Stephanie) of Ballston Lake; cherished grandsons, Donovan and Trevor Drenchko; nephew Andrew Heckethorn; and niece Amy Heckethornjones. She was predeceased by her sister Ann Heckethorn.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
