Gregory, Julia Bounds (Galivan)
— Itiswith deep sadness that we report the passing of Julia Bounds (Galivan) Gregory, at the age of 45, on Friday, March 18, 2022.
A source of happiness and humor to everyone fortunate enough to have known her, she will be missed. She was a passionate and innovative chef who had a degree in culinary arts from SUNY Cobleskill. She also earned a B.A. in communications from SUNY Albany.
She is survived by her niece and nephew, Shannon and John Pierce; her siblings, Amanda Galivan Pierce and Brendan Galivan, and twin sister, Katherine Kania; and her mother, Cynthia Bounds Galivan. Julie was a generous, compassionate sister, aunt, and daughter. She possessed a brilliant mind and a razor sharp sense of humor but, most of all, she was but, most of all, she was kind. Her passing is a loss for us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Julia’s family on Monday, March 28, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St., Albany. Her memorial funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m.

He was the dear father of Jennifer Lewis-colarossi (Justin) and Gregory Thomas Lewis; and brother of Charles Lewis, Paul Lewis, Kathy Harris-valente and Jane Horrocks. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Greg’s family on Thursday, March 31, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Mcveigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany. His funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m.
