LOUDONVILL­E — Allison M. Carroll was born on December 26, 1991, and passed away on May 15, 2022, after a fearless fight with cancer. Alli was surrounded with much love at her home in her last days.

Born in Albany, she was the beloved daughter of David R. Carroll Jr. and Claudia A. Miller. Allison was a loving sister to her brothers, David R. Carroll III, and Benjamin J. Carroll Sr.; and an adoring aunt to Benjamin J. Carroll Jr., "Boo." She is survived by her grandfathe­r, David R. Carroll Sr.; and great-aunt (grandmothe­r), Carol A. Arnold. Allison is also survived by her longtime partner and fiance, Nicholas Ulmer, with whom she lived together with the love of their fur babies, Autumn, Amethyst and Krusty.

She was predecease­d by her two grandmothe­rs, Alice M. Miller (Stark), and Barbara E. Carroll (Mcguire); and great-grandmothe­r, Ethel Carroll; along with grandfathe­r, Benjamin J. Miller; and cousins, Steven Stark and Jeremy Carroll, all of whom came to to bring her home.

Alli worked at Boscov’s in Colonie Center before working at the Mohawk Human Society as a pet counselor.

Society as a pet counselor. Then, she worked at the Boght and Oakwood Veterinary Clinics where she pursued her longtime dream as a vet tech. Her dedication to the animals was shown during COVID-19, when she worked 90 days straight to care for the animals that had to be left at Oakwood due the state mandate. She was a beloved employee.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 20, from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with interment following in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
