John Serina, Ballston Spa boys’ lacrosse: Tallied four goals and two assists in an 18-6 decision over Queensbury.
Greyson Vorgang, Niskayuna boys’ lacrosse: Delivered 10 goals and two assists to lead the Silver Warriors past La Salle 21-11.
Michael Deutsch, Queensbury boys’ lacrosse: Recorded a game-high eight goals in the Spartans’ 23-4 decision over Amsterdambroadalbin-perth.
Kevin Carney, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake boys’ lacrosse: Generated seven goals as the Spartans knocked off Averill Park 21-7.
Nate Wolfe, Shenendehowa boys’ lacrosse: Came through with three goals and four assists as the Plainsmen posted a 13-3 victory against Bethlehem.
Owen Wilson, Shaker boys’ lacrosse: Delivered four goals and four assists, helping to propel the Blue Bison to a 16-7 win over CBA.
Jenna Policino, Shaker girls’ lacrosse: Netted three goals and added five assists in a 19-2 win against Albany and tallied one goal and
three assists in a 13-9 loss to Shenendehowa.
Paige Adams, Shenendehowa girls’ lacrosse: Tallied four goals each in wins over Shaker (13-9) and Saratoga Springs (12-8) as the Plainsmen won their first Section II Class A title.
Carly Wise, Saratoga Spring girls’ lacrosse: Tallied six goals in a 12-11 victory against Bethlehem in triple overtime and netted four goals in a 12-8 loss against Shenendehowa.
MK Lescault, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake girls’ lacrosse: Posted three goals and four assists in a 17-7 win against Glens Falls and tallied four goals and three assists in a 17-7 victory over Albany Academy of Girls.
Delaney Donahue, Queensbury girls’ lacrosse: Scored six goals in a 24-6 win against Niskayuna in the Class B final.
Carter Cukerstein, Shenendehowa boys’ track: The senior secured wins in the 100 (10.57) and 200 (22:17) at the Group 1 sectional championships.
Alex Wheeler, Columbia boys’ track: Posted victories in the long jump (20 feet, 7 inches) and the triple jump (45-2 1⁄4) at the Group 1 championships.
Ryan Bush, Saratoga Springs boys’ track: The senior recorded a time of 4:13.81 to win the 1,600 run at the Group 1 championships.
Gitch Hayes, La Salle boys’ track: Headed to compete for the University of North Carolina, Hayes scored wins in the 800 (1:53.80) and 1,600 (4:20.74) at the Group 2 championships.
Michael Kilgallon, Queensbury boys’ track: Captured the 110 hurdles (14.44) at the Group 2 championships.
Isaiah Gershon, Mohonasen boys’ track: Recorded victories in the 100 (10.58) and 200 (22.41) at the Group 2 championships.
Neil Howard, Taconic Hills boys’ track: Collected victories in the 110 hurdles (15.07), 400 hurdles (56.96) and long jump (21-10 1⁄2) and finished second in the pole vault (15-0) at the Group 3 championships.
Alessandro Saltsman, Fonda boys’ track: Earned victories in the shot put (54-0) and the discus (186-4) at the Group 3 championships.
Emily Bush, Saratoga Springs girls’ track: The sophomore prevailed in the 1,500 (4:32.37) and 3,000 (9:52.16) at the Group 1 championships.
Maeghan Hickey, Guilderland girls’ track: Took the win in the 100 hurdles (15.25) at the Group 1 championships.
Zionna Perez-tucker, Mohonasen girls’ track: The senior earned victories at the Group 2 championships in the 100 (11.98), 200 (25.66) and 400 (56.41).
Mia Paolino, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake girls’ track: Won the 2,000 steeplechase (7:04.15) at the Group 2 championships.
Raul Rodriguez, Saratoga Springs baseball: The eighth grader produced three hits in a 7-1 win against Shenendehowa and singled to drive in the winning run as the Blue Streaks bested Shaker 7-6 to claim the Section II Class AA title.
Andrew Dongelewic, Shaker baseball: Tossed a three-hitter and struck out 11 as the Blue Bison blanked Columbia 2-0 in the Class AA semifinals.
Ethan Nardacci, Averill Park baseball: Produced three hits in an 8-3 win against Scotia and delivered a three-run double and tossed a five-hitter in a 5-4 victory over Mohonasen as the Warriors claimed the Class A championship.
Ryan Dow, Schuylerville baseball: Limited Ichabod Crane to three hits in a 1-0 Class B title win.
Matt Thorsen, Chatham baseball: Doubled, singled, scored three runs and stole five bases to lead the Panthers past Galway 10-6 in the Class CC-C playoff.
Jada Lambright, Shenendehowa softball: Doubled twice in a 6-4 loss against Saratoga Springs in the Class AA final.
Jackie Cutting, Saratoga Springs softball: The freshman worked her way out of trouble to produce victories against Columbia and Shenendehowa as the Blue Streaks earned the Class AA title as a No. 7 seed.
Olivia Decitise, Troy softball: The Suburban Council’s Pitcher of the Year fired a five-hitter and struck out 16 in a 1-0 victory over Burnt Hillsballston

Kari Graziano, Ichabod Crane softball: Produced a three-hitter and struck out 10 in a 4-1 win against Cohoes and tossed a one-hitter in a 12-0 title victory over Glens Falls in the Class B final.
Allie Mcqueen, Greenwich softball: Clubbed a two-run home run in the seventh inning to help force extra innings as the Witches went on to post a 4-3 victory over Chatham in 11 innings to earn the Class C championship.
Team of the week
Saratoga Springs softball: The Blue Streaks beat No. 3 seed Columbia (5-3) and No. 1 seed Shenendehowa (6-4 in eight innings) — rallying from a 4-0 deficit — to claim the program’s first sectional title since 2000 by winning the Class AA championship.
