Olivia Decitise, Troy softball: Delivered a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a 16-1 decision over Massena and fired a six-hitter in a 9-3 victory over New Hartford to advance to the Class A state final four.
Kari Graziano, Ichabod Crane softball: Tossed a four-hitter and struck out 10 in a 12-0 victory against Peru and limited Canton to three hits as the Riders prevailed 13-1 to advance to the Class B state final four.
Lily Mccauliffe, Greenwich softball: Tossed a no-hitter, struck out six and added a pair of run-scoring hits to lead the Witches to a 14-0 win against Norwood-norfolk to send her
team to the Class C state final four.
Kylee Humiston, Argyle softball: Knocked in a run with a triple and drove home the winning run with a single in the sixth, leading the Scots past Bolton-schroon Lake 7-6 in the Class D state quarterfinals.
Nate Rodriguez, Saratoga Springs baseball: Doubled and scored in a 10-2 loss to Fayetteville-manlius in the Class AA state quarterfinals.
Michael Wormuth, Averill Park baseball: The Warriors’ left fielder made a spectacular catch in a 3-2 triumph over Cortland and produced two hits and three RBIS in a 13-0 victory against Massena to help his team advance to the Class A state final four.
Ryan Dow, Schuylerville baseball: Worked six and two-thirds innings, striking out 10, as the Black Horses beat Peru 7-3 to advance to the Class B state final four.
Matt Thorsen, Chatham baseball: The junior fired a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts leading the Panthers past Norwood-norfolk, propelling his team into the Class C state final four.
Kennedy Swedick, Albnay Academy for Girls' golf: Fired an even-par round of 72 Sunday at Mcgregor Links in the first round of the state tournament.
Trey Smith, Greenville boys’ golf: The senior carded an even-par 72 Sunday in the opening round of the state tournament, good for a tie for ninth entering Monday's final round.
Colin Bullock, Shenendehowa boys' lacrosse: The senior scored seven times to lead the Plainsmen to a 15-9 victory over Guilderland for the Section II Class A championship. tommy Tyksinski, Guilderland boys' lacrosse: Tallied six goals in a 15-9 setback against Shenendehowa.
Greyson Vorgang, Niskayuna boys’ lacrosse: Netted seven goals in a 14-13 win over Ballston Spa for the Section II Class B title.
Davey Carroll, Niskayuna boys’ lacrosse: Netted a trio of goals in an 18-8 state quarterfinal loss against Rye.
Matt King, Ballston Spa boys’ lacrosse: Scored four goals in a 14-13 loss against Niskayuna in the Section II Class B final.
Kevin Carney, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake boys’ lacrosse: Scored four goals and added two assists during a six-goal stretch where the Spartans extended a 5-4 lead into a 11-4 cushion during a 12-5 triumph in the Class C state quarterfinal victory against Pelham.
Shane Mcclearan, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake boys’ lacrosse: Tallied five goals in a 17-4 sectional title win over South Glens Falls.
Brigid Duffy, Queensbury girls’ lacrosse: Scored seven times and added three assists as the Spartans produced an 18-13 decision over John Jay-cross River in the Class B state quarterfinals. The senior tied the single-season school record for goals with 87.
Maggie Lescault, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake girls’ lacrosse: The seventh grader scored on a free position with five seconds remaining as the Spartans edged Tappan Zee 8-7 to advance to the Class C state final four.
MK Lescault, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake girls’ lacrosse: Scored three goals in 8-7 win over Tappan Zee in Class C state quarterfinals.
Carter Cukerstein, Shenendehowa boys’ track: The senior speedster won the 100 in 10.29 seconds at the Division I state qualifier.
Isaiah Gershon, Mohonasen boys’ track: Won the 200 (22.02) and finished second in the 100 (10.85) at the Division I state qualifier.
Michael Kilgallon, Queensbury boys’ track: Prevailed in the 110 hurdles (14.07) at the Division I state qualifier.
Gitch Hayes, La Salle boys’ track: The senior delivered victories in the 800 (1:52.87) and 3,200 (9:20.17) at the Division I state qualifier.
Alex Wheeler, Columbia boys’ track: Earned wins in the long jump (21 feet, 8 inches) and the triple jump (45-1/2) at the Division I state qualifier.
Neil Howard, Taconic Hills boys’ track: Earned wins in the 400 hurdles (55.39) and the long jump (22-7) at the Division II state qualifier.
Alessandro Saltsman, Fonda boys’ track: Won the discus (186-3) at the Division II state qualifier.
Carter Petersen, Fonda boys’ track: Captured victories in the 110 hurdles (15.30) and the pole vault (15-3) at the Division II state qualifier.
Zionna Perez-tucker, Mohonasen girls’ track: The senior posted wins at the Division I state qualifier in the 100 (11.80) and 200 (24.66).
Sheridan Wheeler, Saratoga Springs girls’ track: Won the 2,000 steeplechase (6:53.86) at the Division I state qualifier.
Leonni Griffin, Shaker girls’ track: Finished first in the 800 (2:13.19) at the Division I state qualifier.
Maeghan Hickey, Guilderland girls’ track: Secured victory in the 100 hurdles (15.34) at the Division I state qualifier.
Gianna Locci, Stillwater girls’ track: The senior earned victories in the 100 (12.30) and 200 (25.74) at the Division II state qualifier.
Uchenna Uba, Ravena girls’ track: Posted wins in the shot put (37-6) and discus (133-11 1.2) at the Division II state qualifier.
