— Carl S. Andriano, 86 of Latham, the beloved husband of the late Joan (Rem) Andriano, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush.
Carl was born on December 27, 1936, in Albany to his parents, Salvatore and Giovanna (Morreale) Andriano. He and Joan were married on October 4, 1958, and enjoyed 50 cherished years together prior to her passing in 2009.
During his younger years and early working life, Carl worked at his cousin’s restaurant, Panetta’s, in Menands. He also owned and operated a carpet business in Albany and was a contractor with the Local Plumbers and Steamä± ÛOC !·l 7l³ later go on to become a maintenance supervisor with Monsey Products in Waterford. Carl enjoyed hunting, camping, enjoying the sights and sounds of the river as well as being involved in local historical reenactments and belonging to the N.Y.S. Muzzle Loaders. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his canine companion Mittens. Carl had a special place in his heart for his chihuahuas over the years.
In addition to his parents and late wife, Carl was predeceased by his son, Michael Andriano; and brother, Frank (late Pauline) Andriano. Survivors include his children, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Andriano, Laura (Frank) Feiden, and Michele (William) Ross; sister Marianne (late Robert) Mccarthy; as well as a sister-in-law, Maryann (late Jerome) Friedman; four grandchildren, Nicole (Kevin) Merriam, Bryan (Christopher) Andriano, Alexandra (Nicholas) Miller and Keith Feiden; six great-grandchildren, Austin, Kayden, Emma, Archer, Mitchell, and Isabelle as well as several nieces and nephews.
