-

TAXSLAYER GATOR BOWL

Kentucky (7-5) vs. Clemson (8-4), noon (ESPN)

Line: Clemson by 4 1⁄2

Series: Kentucky leads 8-5

What’s at stake: Clemson tries to end its worst season since 2010 with a five-game winning streak. The Tigers, one of 11 Power Five teams to go undefeated in November, have won a postseason game (conference championship, bowl or playoff game) in each of the past 12 years — the longest streak in major college football history. Kentucky, meanwhile, dropped five of its last seven after a 5-0 start but ended the regular season with a 38-31 victory against in-state rival Louisville in the annual Governor’s Cup.

SUN BOWL

No. 21 Oregon State (8-4, Pac-12) vs. No. 15 Notre Dame (9-3, independent), 2 p.m. (CBS-6) Line: Notre Dame by 6 1⁄2

Series: Oregon State leads 2-0 What’s at stake: Both teams are missing plenty of starters in the third meeting between Notre Dame and Oregon State. Both of the previous meetings were in bowl games. Both were won by Oregon State. The Beavers are trying to get a victory for interim coach Kefense Hynson before Trent Bray takes over the job following the departure of Johnathan Smith to Michigan State. The Irish have a shot at the 23rd 10-win season in school history and sixth in the past seven seasons.

LIBERTY BOWL

Iowa State (7-5, Big 12) vs. Memphis (9-3, American Athletic), 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)

Line: Iowa State by 9 1⁄2

Series: Iowa State leads 1-0 What’s at stake: With a victory, Memphis can post just the fifth season in school history with at least 10 wins and the fourth since 2014. The Tigers also can get a little payback after losing this bowl to Iowa State 21-20 in 2017. The Iowa State Cyclones are 1-2 all-time in this bowl. Iowa State is looking to finish winning three of its final four and comes in having upset then-no. 19 Kansas State 42-35 in the regular-season finale.

COTTON BOWL

No. 9 Missouri (10-2, SEC) vs. No. 7 Ohio State (11-1, Big Ten), 8 p.m. (ESPN)

Line: Ohio State by 2 1⁄2

Series: Ohio State leads 10-1-1 What’s at stake: Missouri is in its first New Year’s Six game during the four-team College Football Playoff era, which began with Ohio State winning the national title at the end of the 2014 season in AT&T Stadium, where the Cotton Bowl is played. The Tigers have lost their past four bowl games. Ohio State, which been in a NY6 game every season since its last national title, is playing for the first time since a loss to Michigan in a regular-season finale matching undefeated teams that cost the Buckeyes the chance at a Big Ten title and a playoff spot.
