Bethlehem armed robbery suspects sought
BETHLEHEM — A sale arranged on Facebook Marketplace turned into an armed robbery late Wednesday night after two men stole jewelry and car keys and fled down Vista Boulevard, town police said.
The meeting was arranged to sell jewelry when one of the men — covered in a mask and a skeleton-print sweatshirt — brandished a handgun before robbing the intended seller around 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Plug Power fuel cell factory, Bethlehem police said. The two men headed south on Vista Boulevard toward Route 85 in a darkcolored, possibly purple,
Toyota Sienna minivan.
Police advised there is a designated location for ecommerce exchanges on the east side of the Bethlehem Town Hall at 447 Delaware
Ave. that is monitored by police and video surveillance. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 518-439-9973.
