HELPING OUT

-

Scotia-glenville Senior Citizens

Inc. played Santa Claus to 82 nursing home and rehabilitation centers in the Glenville area last month. Members of the center take an ornament off the tree with a wish list from a patient at the Baptist and Glendale homes. They purchase the items, wrap them and donate them to the project. Representatives from the homes come with their vans to load them up for the “great reveal” later at the patients’ rooms. This past year the wish lists had many requests for blankets and teddy bears.
