SUNY Oneonta Sidney Anderson, Altamont, a student at SUNY Oneonta, received $1,700 from The Dewar Foundation Fund toward an internship with Otsego Mental Health Adult Clinic Oneonta.

COLLEGE HONORS AND ACTIVITIES

Jordan Knowles, Schenectad­y, a student at Nichols College, Dudley, Mass., was one of 26 seniors appointed to the college's Senior Advisory Council.

Anna Guzzo, Schenectad­y, a student at SUNY Oneonta, was one of six adolescenc­e education: mathematic­s majors at the college who collaborat­ed to create the Little Red Dragons program in the fall semester.

Luke Plumadore, Rexford, a student at SUNY Oneonta, was one of 17 exercise science and sport management students at the college who collaborat­ed to create the Little Red Dragons program in the fall semester.

Trevor Boutin, Clifton Park; Peyton Legg, Haines Falls; Joseph Schiavo, Saratoga Springs; and Edward Tice, Ghent were among 19 SUNY Oneonta students who designed a collaborat­ive anthropolo­gy art exhibit titled “Winter Waste Land” on display in the Open Space Gallery.

Isabella Grace Wiseman, Chatham,

Chatham High School; Fathima Islam Chowdhury, Hudson, Hudson High School; London James Exley, East Nassau, New Lebanon Jr.-sr. High School; and Gianna Loretta Stang, Acramdale, Taconic Hills High School.

London Exley was presented the DAR Good Citizen Award by the Hendrick Hudson chapter at a Dec. 10 ceremony at the chapter house in Hudson.

Satya Groff, Troy High School, Troy and Vincent Coppola, Clayton A. Bouton High School, Voorheesvi­lle are among 25 state high school seniors nominated for the U.S. Presidenti­al Scholars Program by the State Education Department.

Owen Compani, a senior at Broadalbin-perth High School, has been awarded the $1,000 Howard E. Reese Alumni of the Year Scholarshi­p by the Future City-capital District Region.

The Schenectad­y-saratoga Symphony Orchestra’s season continues on the Mainstage at Proctors with Bethlehem Central High School senior William Lauricella 3 p.m. Sunday.
