Danes’ Gattuso to receive award
University at Albany football coach Greg Gattuso was named the inaugural Walter Camp Foundation FCS Coach of the Year.
The Great Danes were 11-4 under Gattuso’s leadership, making it all the way to the FCS semifinals in 2023. Gattuso was also named CAA Coach of the Year, AFCA FCS Coach of the Year, FCS Football Central Coach of the Year and ECAC Coach of the Year this past season.
Gattuso will be presented the award on Saturday at the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s Black Tie National Awards Dinner at Yale University in New Haven, Conn.
College athletes sue NCAA
