BASEBALL
Nate Figueroa, Colonie: The junior shortstop went 5-for-5, including a home run, scored four times and drove in three runs in a 12-4 win against Columbia.
Michael Mack, Saratoga Springs: Struck out 14 batters in helping to lead the Blue Streaks past Colonie 5-2.
Alex Kerr, Niskayuna: Delivered a two-run single to propel his team to a 3-2 victory over Guilderland.
Tommy Case, Shaker: Worked five innings, giving up two hits and striking out nine, as the Blue Bison beat Guilderland 4-0.
Andrew Gabriel, Columbia: The senior shortstop produced home runs in losses against Shaker (7-1) and Colonie (12-4).
Ray Contessa, La Salle: Tossed a two-hitter and struck out 10 as the Cadets posted a 7-0 win over Voorheesville.
Brady Holzhauer, Ichabod Crane: Allowed one hit over six innings, striking out eight, as the Riders defeated Mohonasen 10-0.
Max Frering, Ichabod Crane: Homered, doubled, singled, scored four times and drove in two runs in a 10-0 victory over Mohonasen.
Logan Krause, Ravena-coeymans-selkirk: Fired a two-hitter, struck out eight, hit a home run and knocked in four runs in a 7-0 win against Lansingburgh.
Ashton Hotaling, Hudson: Finished with a three-hitter with 11 strikeouts as the Bluehawks defeated Maple Hill 5-1.
Scotty Lynch, Mechanicville: Produced a pair of hits, featuring the 100th of his career, and drove in three runs in a 12-4 victory against Hoosic Valley.
Joe Devito, Mechanicville: Went 4-for-4 with two RBIS in a 27-8 win over Stillwater.
Chris Couser, Mechanicville: Produced a 4-for-4 game with two RBIS in a 27-8 victory against Stillwater.
Pierce Byrne, Saratoga Central Catholic: The sophomore fired a one-hitter and struck out 15 to lead the Saints past Stillwater 2-0 in Wasaren League play.
Trevor French, Schuylerville: The senior lefty tossed a no-hitter, striking out 10, as the Black Horses defeated Gloversville 6-0.
Tate Van Alstyne, Chatham: Homered and knocked in three runs in a 4-for-4 effort, helping the Panthers post an 18-3 win against Duanesburg and added a 3-for-3 showing in a 26-1 victory over Maple Hill.
Jake Taylor, Chatham: Tripled, doubled and singled twice in a 4for-4 outing and knocked in a trio of runs as the Panthers defeated Duanesburg 18-3.
John Shaw, Schoharie: Gave up one hit and struck out 10 in four innings, plus added two hits and two RBIS, in a 12-2 win against Middleburgh.
Brady Cheney, Warrensburg: Surrendered only two hits and struck out 15 over six innings as the Burghers beat Hadley-luzerne 5-0.
Tyler Friedman, Galway: The junior tossed a two-hitter and struck out 10 in a 2-0 victory over OESJ.
SOFTBALL
Lauren Lemme, Guilderland: Fired a two-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 6-1 win over Bethlehem and delivered a two-hitter in a 7-1 triumph over Orchard Park.
Leah Miller, Guilderland: Tossed a pair of seven-hitters to lead the Lady Dutch to wins against Monroe-woodbury (5-3) and Niskayuna (13-1).
Natalie Colone, Shenendehowa: Homered, tripled, doubled and drove in six runs in a 16-4 decision over Troy.
Morgan Smith, Shenendehowa: Worked four innings and did not allow a hit in a 12-0 win against Queensbury.
Stella Guzek, Columbia: Produced a five-hitter with 14 strikeouts as the Blue Devils defeated Colonie 3-1.
Taylor Schoonmaker, Averill Park: Finished 3-for-3, including a triple, in a 6-3 win against Ballston Spa.
Natalie Mancino, Averill Park: Tripled, singled and delivered three RBIS in a 6-3 victory over Ballston Spa.
Monet Dejesus, Albany: Tripled, doubled twice and knocked in three runs as the Falcons defeated Niskayuna 6-4.
Kari Graziano, Ichabod Crane: Surrendered three hits and struck out four in a 14-1 Colonial Council victory over Mohonasen.
Abbey Milazzo, Ichabod Crane: Came through with four hits as the Riders produced a 14-1 win against Mohonasen.
Erin Lee, Tamarac: Struck out eight and gave up one hit in five innings as the Bengals beat Cambridge 12-0.
Riley Heighes, Cohoes: Went 3-for-4, featuring two doubles, drove in five runs and allowed one hit and struck out 12 over five innings in a 14-1 victory over Albany Academy for Girls.
Riley Sitcer, Coxsackie-athens: Tripled twice, singled twice and knocked in four runs in a 17-16 win against Taconic Hills.
Kennedy Boisvert, Hoosick Falls: Delivered a four-hitter, struck out 19 and went 3-for-3 at the plate to help the Panthers post a 6-1 win against Stillwater.
Skylar Groom, Chatham: Worked five innings, struck out 13 and hit a grand slam in a 22-0 victory over Maple Hill and fired a one-hitter with 17 strikeouts to go along with a home run in a 12-1 win against Watervliet.
Aubrey Burns, Mayfield: Belted a grand slam, smacked two singles and finished with six RBIS in a 21-7 victory over Fonda-fultonville.
Genna Rickert, Duanesburg: Did not allow a hit and struck out 10 in five innings as the Eagles beat OESJ 23-0.
Allison Fuller, Saratoga Central Catholic: Finished with a home run, double, two singles and scored four times in the Saints’ 14-5 victory against Cambridge.
Ryan Mcdonald, Saratoga Central Catholic: Produced a 4for-4 effort, including two doubles, in a 14-5 victory over Cambridge.
Hailey Ogniewski, Saratoga Central Catholic: Earned tournament Most Valuable Player honors at her school’s event, allowing three hits and striking out 10 in a 6-2 decision over Corinth.
BOYS’ LACROSSE
Mason Carroll, Shenendehowa: Tallied seven goals to pace the offense in an 11-5 victory over Mamaroneck.
John Mooney, Niskayuna: Posted five goals in a 17-1 win against Guilderland.
Luke Johnson, Bethlehem: Scored four times, including what proved to be the winning goal, in an 11-10 win against Christian Brothers Academy.
Buck Delamater, Columbia: Tallied five goals and two assists in a 15-12 decision over La Salle.
Logan Ferro, Albany: Tallied six goals as the Falcons defeated Lansingburgh 17-1.
Gavin Fitzpatrick, Albany: Found the back of the net six times in a 17-1 victory over Lansingburgh.
Rorick Perry, Mohonasen: Produced seven goals and two assists in a 17-7 win against Greenwich/cambridge.
GIRLS’ LACROSSE
Kady Duffy, Queensbury: Tallied six goals and five assists in a 25-0 decision over Broadalbinperth and recorded three goals and one assist in a 10-6 victory against Bethlehem.
Maggie Lescault, Burnt Hills-ballston Lake: Scored four goals and added three assists in a 12-7 win over Columbia and added four goals and two assists in a 10-9 setback against Long Meadow.
Ava Roemer, Niskayuna: Finished with five goals and one assist in a 12-10 decision over Minisink Valley and tallied four goals in a 12-8 win against Guilderland.
Alice Nitcher, Scotia: Produced six goals and three assists in a 19-17 victory against Glens Falls.
BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD
Neil Howard, Taconic Hills:
The senior star registered wins in the 400 hurdles (53.69 seconds) and the long jump (21 feet, 4 inches) at the Green Dragon Relays.
Cam Curet, Colonie: One week after teammate Ryan Buskey established a school record and the state’s top effort in the high jump at 6-7, Curet matched it against Ballston Spa to earn berths to the Penn Relays and the state championships.
Braiden Pulver, Shenendehowa:
Prevailed in the shot put (55-9 ⁄ ) and finished second in 1
2 the discus (151-4) at the CBA/LA Salle Relays.
Nate West, Christian Brothers Academy: Posted a victory in the discus (156-2) and a second in the shot put (54-03⁄4) at the CBA/ La Salle Relays.
Kala’i Makanani, Ballston Spa: Won the 200 (22.95) and helped the 400 relay squad (44.76) at the CBA/LA Salle Relays.
GIRLS’ TRACK AND FIELD
Parker Steele, Guilderland: Earned victory in the long jump (17-4 ⁄ ) at the Green Dragon Relays. 1

Kendall Barnhart, Guilderland: Posted a win in the 400 hurdles (1:03.70) at the Green Dragon Relays.
Gabrielle Bozeth, Guilderland: Secured a win in the 200 (26.01) and helped the 400 relay team set a new meet record (49.84) at the Green Dragon Relays.
FLAG FOOTBALL
Azera Gates, Albany: Registered 160 yards rushing, 120 yards receiving and two touchdowns as the Falcons defeated Bethlehem 44-2.
Eleanor Keough, Shaker: The sophomore quarterback rushed for three touchdowns and passed for two touchdowns to rally the Blue Bison past Saratoga Springs 33-19.
Alivia Landy, Columbia: Hauled in two receiving touchdowns in a 26-12 win against Shenendehowa and recorded a receiving touchdown and returned an interception for a touchdown in a 34-0 victory over Schenectady.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
Shaker flag football: The Blue Bison opened their season with victories against Saratoga Springs (33-19) and Albany (4031).
