Wizards end 6-game skid

Nets beat Mavs; Grizz edge ’Wolves

WASHINGTON — John Wall scored 22 points and Nene added 21 as the Washington Wizards ended their six-game losing streak with a 99-95 win over the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.

The Wizards, who had lost 11 of 13, won despite blowing a 21-point second-half lead. Marcin Gortat scored 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for Washington.

Greg Monroe had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Spencer Dinwiddie added 20 off the bench for Detroit, which has lost three straight.

NETS 104, MAVERICKS 94: In Dallas, Deron Williams scored 25 points, and Thaddeus Young had 16 points and eight rebounds off the bench as Brooklyn topped Dallas.

The victory completed a 3-5 road trip for the Nets, who moved into eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points and Devin Harris had 14 for Dallas, which dropped into sixth place in the Western Conference.

GRIZZLIES 101, TIMBER

WOLVES 97: In Minneapoli­s, Marc Gasol had 27 points and 11 rebounds, and Mike Conley hit a big 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to lift Memphis to a victory over Minnesota.

Conley finished with 17 points.

Andrew Wiggins scored 25 points and Ricky Rubio had 13 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds for the Wolves.

KNICKS 103, RAPTORS 98:

In New York, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 22 points and Langston Galloway made a clinching 3-pointer and New York beat Toronto.

Former Raptors center Andrea Bargnani scored 19 points and newcomer Alexei Shved had 15 for the Knicks.

HAWKS 93, HEAT 91: In Miami, Paul Millsap scored 22 points, and Dennis Schroder added 16 points and 10 assists as Atlanta beat Miami.

Kent Bazemore scored 15 for Atlanta, which turned 23 Miami turnovers into 31 points.

SPURS 101, SUNS 74: In Phoenix, Kawhi Leonard had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and San Antonio dominated from the opening tip in a rout of Phoenix.

JAZZ 82, BUCKS 75: In Salt Lake City, Trey Burke had 23 points and six assists, and Derrick Favors added 16 points, 12 rebounds and three steals to help Utah hold off Milwaukee.
