With brand-new 2016 models filling up auto lots, and generous

financing and lease offers available, there are attractive deals to be had, even on some of the hottest-selling models.

Here are some examples:

■ During the ongoing Ford Holiday Sales Event, on a 2016 Fusion midsize sedan you can take advantage of 0 percent financing for 60 months, plus $1,000 holiday bonus cash — and defer payments for 90 days.

■ Or opt for a 2015 model, and the savings grow even more inviting: Check out a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 pickup, and you’ll be eligible for up to $10,000 in holiday pricing deals.

■ Is an SUV more your style? Toyota is promoting its annual Toyotathon, which it calls its “biggest event of the year.” Drive off in a 2015 RAV4 with lease payments of $179 a month for 24 months, with two years’ free maintenance.

You might want to take advantage of these savings soon, as many of these offers expire at the end of the year.

Just don’t expect your dealership staff to gift-wrap your present, although you might convince them to make it even more festive by putting a big red bow on it.
