Chano Salazar, age 82, born in Cuba, NM and a resident of Albuquerqu­e, passed December 27, 2015.

Mr. Salazar is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-two years, Marcella; children, Louie Salazar and wife Carmen, Ernie Salazar and wife, Debbie, Robert Salazar, and Christine Salazar; grandchild­ren, Jennifer, Andres, Cassandra, Michael, and Brian; greatgrand­chidlren, Estevan, Mario, Giselle, Monae, and Elias; great great-grandchild­ren, Jiovanni, Eliana, and Lyla; brothers, Phillip Salazar and wife, Pat, and Daniel Salazar; sister, Rosemary Rohlfs and husband, Bob. Mr. Salazar was preceded in death by his sister, Katie Holguin; brother, Adolf Salazar; and granddaugh­ter, Jemaine.

Chano was a member of the Los Madrugador­es Golf Club, loving golfing and worked at Ladera Golf Course.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearer­s will be Michael Sullivan, Brian Sullivan, Estevan Salazar, Andres Salazar, Richard Rohlfs, and Dean Holguin.
