Allotta, Elizabeth
Elizabeth (Liz) Allotta (nee Dingwall) left this world to join the Lord on June 13, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Liz was the third of seven children born to William and Grace Dingwall in Rochester, New York on September 24, 1947. After graduating from Oswego State University, she married her high school sweetheart Joseph (Joe) Allotta who together raised three wonderful children. She was a loving caring wife, mother and grandmother.
She was raised in Rochester, New York and after marriage moved to Toledo, Ohio where she raised her children and worked as a law firm’s bookkeeper. After moving to New Mexico in 2008, Liz was an active member of St. Chad’s Episcopal Church and the bookkeeper at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church. She volunteered for many worthy causes and enjoyed traveling, reading and visiting her children and grandchildren. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by all she encountered.
Liz is survived by her husband Joe Allotta, who together enjoyed 45 years of marriage; her children John (Adrienne) and their children, Jackson, Harper and Beatrice; Leslie (Patrick) and their children Jamis and Anna; and Jeffrey (Paula) and their children Jared and Justin.
A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 4 pm at St. Chad’s Episcopal Church, 7171 Tennyson Drive, Albuquerque, NM. It will be immediately followed by a reception with a light meal and child care provided.

The Allotta Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that contributes to many worthy causes such as, scholarships, reading programs and food banks across the country and the world. Through the Foundation, we will continue Liz’s volunteer work and spirit of generosity.
