Spotlight on Tiffany
Lower spending by consumers and the impact of a strong dollar on international sales have hurt Tiffany & Co.’s bottom line.
The jeweler’s earnings and revenue came in lower in the first quarter versus a year earlier. That followed fiscal-year results for the 12 months ended in January that also reflected declines in earnings and revenue. Financial analysts expect that Tiffany & Co. will report another down quarter today.
