Equality events

The Southwest Women’s Law Center invites the community to join in celebrating Women’s Equality Day and the 96th Anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the power to vote, at 11 a.m. Friday on Civic Plaza. There will be music, fun and the League of Women Voters will be on hand to help people get registered to vote.
