Amado R. Sanchez, age 77, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016.

Amado is survived by his children, Yvonne Stewart and husband, Michael, Amado (Ross) Sanchez Jr. and wife, Marlene, Leonard Sanchez and wife, Emily, and Steve Sanchez; sister, Priscilla Encinias and husband, Conrad; grandchildren, Adrian Gomez and wife, Melissa, Steven Sanchez Jr., Mark Sanchez Sr., and wife, Melissa, Mario Gomez, Vincent Sanchez, Michael Ross Sanchez, Gabriel Sanchez, Victor Sanchez, Amelia Sanchez, Ava Sanchez, and Marcos Sanchez; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Christopher, and Sophia Gomez, Mark Jr., Katrina, Matthew, and Kaylee Sanchez, Josiah, Steven III, and Heavenly Sanchez, and Alizae Rodriguez Sanchez and Gabriel Sanchez Jr. and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Amado was preceded in death by his parents, Felix T. Sanchez and Charlotte Pohl Sanchez; and many other relatives.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2016 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Patricia Muniz-Roberts. Final visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2016 from 10:30 a. m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a. m. Private disposition will take place at a later date. Urnbearers will be Toby Armijo.
