Democrats behind destructive endeavors
I RESPECT (Winthrop) Quigley’s perspective on the New Mexico culture and think such common sense observations can make as much sense as an intensive university/government study of the obvious.
That said, let me state my perspective on a couple of historic government endeavors.
What does the Great Society and the Vietnam War have in common other than being mainly advocated and supported by members of the Democratic Party — Lyndon B. Johnson?
In the end, both destroyed the very thing they purported to be trying to save. The Great Society destroyed the lower-class American family structure and the Vietnam War destroyed the country of Vietnam. RICHARD LUEDERS Albuquerque
