BOOKS: Chaplain Quinton Fletcher at the Metropolit­an Detention Center (MDC), is requesting gently used or new paperback books (no hardbacks are allowed in the facility) for each of the 20 pods. Third grade reading level to books for PhD level inmates. Childrens books, for the books shelf in the lobby and for inmates to read to their children. Religious, educationa­l, classics, science, math, etc. The need for children’s books are minimal compared to need for books for the inmate population.
