Ridge tells Brooke how he’d like their wedding to be. Wyatt explains to Steffy how his love for her differs from Liam’s. Ridge and Liam become allies over their mutual hatred of Quinn. Bill visits Brooke to offer her something Ridge isn’t ready for, and he sees a glimmer of hope that they could reunite. Steffy takes a side on the matter when Liam opposes the way Wyatt is portraying her on social media. The situation explodes when Pam shows Liam and Steffy the latest video Wyatt posted. Katie chooses her words carefully when voicing her concern over Eric’s marriage to Quinn. Wyatt and Nicole discuss their respective heartbreak as they work together on a social media campaign.
Eric calls a meeting with Steffy to discuss what he expects from her both personally and professionally. Bill surprises Brooke at home, wanting to toast the New Year and share his resolutions with her.

Chad processes Abigail’s return the best way he can. At the same time, Abigail confronts Gabi about her growing relationship with Chad. Happy that Chad knows the truth, Jennifer appeals to him to be understanding. Gabi helps Abigail through a panic attack, while Chad confronts Andre for keeping Abigail a secret. Hope realizes her days are numbered when Coco and Sheila make a move, and she makes plans to recruit an inmate army to combat her enemies. Steve, Kayla, Joey, Jade, Claire and Ciara help feed the homeless. Deimos and Brady try to figure out how to prove Chloe’s baby is really Daniel and Nicole’s, and they suspect that Nancy knows the truth. After Kate accuses Andre of stealing, Rafe makes a shocking request of them. Marlena, Steve and Kayla travel down memory lane. Joey and Jade begin to look forward to being parents. Kate makes romantic New Year’s Eve plans with Eduardo, and Justin and Lucas both show up at the hospital for Adrienne. JJ receives a huge shock. As the New Year rings in, some relationships are forever changed.

Franco makes a stunning confession to Liz, and Sonny makes a plea to Carly. Jordan reunites with Andre, and Jason looks for clues at a pawn shop. Alexis isn’t happy with Julian’s meddling. Laura offers her support to Lulu in her custody battle, while Nathan receives crushing news and his past comes back to haunt him. Hayden’s recovery comes at a cost. Kiki struggles to fight her fate. Valentin makes a promise to Nina. Bobbie places Nelle on the spot.

Nikki tells Victor about her desire to spend Christmas with both Nick and Dylan. Dylan tells Paul when he visits that he has no intention of spending Christmas Eve at the Newman house, and later, Paul tells Nikki the bad news. Victor misses Adam, but is thrilled to be spending Christmas with his family together. Sharon and Dylan miss the feeling of children at home, and they both confess to one another that they secretly kept a picture of Sully. Devon confronts Hilary about lying about other TV hosting offers. Hilary tries to make her case, and accuses Devon of trying to control her. Jill urges Billy to stop wallowing, to spend Christmas with Victoria and the kids and to show her he can be the man she fell in love with. Mariah is happy with the positive reaction she’s been getting as the new host of GC Buzz. Phyllis works up the courage to tell Jack she’s quitting Jabot to work with Lauren.
