Isleta offers chance to win a year’s pay
Isleta Resort & Casino is keeping the cash flowing through early February.
This month, the casino began its “Year’s Pay Giveaway,” which runs through Feb. 4. Drawings will be held every two hours from 2 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays for your chance at $5,000 in cash and to qualify for an opportunity to win a year’s pay. There will be three winners selected during each drawing. Guests will receive one entry daily and have the ability to earn additional entries with every 25 points they earn playing their preferred slots, table games, poker or bingo. Accrue points faster on Tuesdays when you earn two times the points playing your favorite Isleta games.
Every Sunday through Feb. 5, it’s time for the “40 Yard Dash for Cash.” Patrons who earn 25 points before each drawing by playing any slot machine or table game using their Isleta Eagle Players Club card will qualify. Drawings will be held every hour from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for a chance at up to $500 in cash.
Later this month, participate in the “Lunar New Year” promotion on Jan. 28. Every hour between 1 and 9 p.m., guests have a chance to win $500 in cash in celebration of the lunar new year. To qualify, earn 25 points on your Isleta Eagle Players Club card one hour before each drawing. You must have your Players Club card inserted in the slot machine you are playing or actively being used at table games or poker to be eligible.
Wednesdays are reserved for poker enthusiasts. Every Wednesday through March, lucky winners in the poker room will spin the wheel to receive up to $100 in free chips as part of the “Winning Hand Wheel Spin” promotion.
Poker players also earn a free gift when they are seated in the hot seat at Isleta’s casino poker room on Mondays through March. A gift will be given away each hour from noon to 11 p.m. On Tuesdays, take part in the “$10 Free Poker Buy-In” from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Poker players will receive $10 in chips after a minimum buy-in of $50. The promotion is limited to the first 30 players who meet the buy-in requirement for live games only.
Get rewarded for your poker play from 2 to 11 p.m. on Thursdays. Poker players can earn one drawing ticket for every half-hour of live play for chance to win $100 in Isleta’s Player Reward drawings.
Bingo players also have some fun promotions to take part in this month.
The “Martin Luther King Jr. Free Bingo” promotion will take place during the Monday evening bingo session on Jan. 16. All players will receive their first bingo pack for free, which pays $250 in cash. Additional packs are $5, paying $500. There also will be a special $2 Martin Luther King Jr. game that will pay $300 in cash. On Jan. 28, be part of “Lunar New Year Bingo” during the evening session. The buy-in is $8 all-you-can-play, which pays $300 to $888 in cash. There will be eight drawings where Isleta Eagle Club members could win up to $500 in cash. There also will be a $2 special that will pay $300.
Throughout this month, Saturdays are “Super Saturdays” in the bingo room. Sales begin at 2 p.m. for the mini-session beginning at 3 p.m. The $5 double action mini-packs and warm-ups begin at 5:30 p.m. The regular session begins at 6 p.m., with $5 or $10 all-you-can-play paying $500 or $1,000. As a reminder, the bingo room will be closed Saturday, Jan. 14, and Jan. 20.
Pay tribute to the Queen of Tejano music and enjoy an evening of songs that made Selena adored by millions of fans during a Selena tribute show on Saturday, Jan. 14. The show will feature Evelyn Molina y Los Chicos del 512. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. in The Showroom at Isleta. Tickets are $20 for VIP seating and $10 for reserved seating.
