— Thomas Jefferson I voted for Hillary Clinton, but I am not against Donald Trump. I hope that his presidency results in benefits for all of the people in our country. But I also fear that it will harm all but the very rich.

As an attorney and writer, I am struggling to balance my hope for the best with my intention not to normalize any illegal, unethical or unconstitutional actions taken by the Trump administration.

I feel that I must be vigilant as I walk the thin line of supporting the president while committing to do all I can to oppose any of his illegal policies.
