Let’s pick an ‘American’ path
I WAS VERY disappointed in the Leonard Pitts column encouraging four years of outrage.
Why not four years of trying to figure out what the country has found to be attractive about moving away from the political agenda of the past eight years? Wouldn’t that be more “American”? Except for Los Angeles and New York City, Donald Trump ran away with the election.
As a registered Democrat — 43 years — I am appalled at the suggestion.
It is so contrary to the unique-to-the-USA policy of a peaceful transition of power.
So, again, let’s figure out what made Trump more attractive to the populace than the continuation of the Obama/Hillary Clinton policies.
