Vargas, Alejandrina G.

Alejandrina G. Vargas, age 92, born in, El Quelite, Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017, with her family by her side.

Mrs. Vargas is survived by her children, Juan Vargas and wife, Connie, Raul Vargas Jr. and wife, Debbie, Alma Santiago and husband, Domingo, Mona Trujillo and husband, Michael, Barney Vargas, Barbara Avalos and husband, Arthur; sister, Emma Hernandez; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Vargas was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raul Vargas Sr.; daughter, Eileen Vargas; grandson, Eloy Garcia; and great-grandson, Joshua Trujillo.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 N. Plaza NW; with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 8:30 a.m until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Andrea Trujillo, Ashley Vargas, Amanda Santiago, Cassandra Garcia, Genesis Santiago, and Victoria Vargas.
