Dobbs, Randall Eugene

Randall Eugene Dobbs, 48, passed away at his home following a lengthy illness on January 22, 2017.

Everyone loved Randy, from little kids to older adults. He was very popular all throughout his school years and played several sports at Eldorado High School where he was a 1986 graduate. Randy played little league at Roadrunner from pee wees all the way to seniors; he was a great ball player and always made the All Star Team.

Randy was a proud member of the United States Navy. While enlisted he served in Desert Storm and was stationed on the USS Teddy Roosevelt with his younger brother David. He worked at Motorola as an Electronic Technician in Saginaw, TX where he raised his family, coached soccer and tee ball for his kids, and made many more friends before moving back to Albuquerque in 2010. Randy was a volunteer at Kaseman Hospital where he just loved it and all loved him.

Randy was born in Albuquerque, NM and is survived by his daughter Tamara Edwards, husband Devin and grandson Isaiah; son Zachary Dobbs, wife Deanna, granddaughter Aubree and grandson Hayden; his father Robert E. Dobbs and wife Jane; mother Sue Crider; older brother Robert Dobbs and wife Meredith; sister Stacie Medici and husband Vincent, David Dobbs and wife Lisa along with six loving nieces and one nephew. Randy was so much fun to be around and always kept everyone laughing. You will be greatly missed!

Celebration of Randy’s life will be on Monday, January 30,2 107 at 10:00 a.m. Services provided by Riverside Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Rick Bosch. Randy’s final resting place will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
