THE LOBOS LEFT for Reno on Thursday and spent two nights in a hotel supposedly getting ready for their game with Nevada. With that poor effort, they should have saved some money by boarding a plane in Albuquerque at 6 a.m. on Saturday and heading directly to the Lawlor Events Center upon arrival. They couldn’t have played any worse — 17 turnovers, handing Nevada 20 points, which included some horrendous passing.
