Lee A. Dubes passed away peacefully in his sleep on the evening of February 10th, 2017.

Lee was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on November 21, 1951.

He served honorably in the Army National Guard and later earned an Associate’s Degree in Specialize­d Technology from UEI in Oklahoma City. He worked at Sandia National Labs in Albuquerqu­e for 20 years, and more recently as a security guard for the Albuquerqu­e Journal.

Lee loved guns/shooting, cars (especially the Corvette), Sooners sports, fishing, and family.

Lee is survived by his brother, Glenn A. Dubes; Lee’s children and their families: Ryan and Darla Flynn and children (Ryan Jr., Jordan, Braden and McKinsey), Jonathan and Voula Temple and children (Anthony, Cole and Mary), Natalie and Tim Richard and children (Layla and Lennon), Shelby and Don Blake and children (Kailee and Greyson), and Jarod and Mizaho Temple and their children (Elisa and Ryan). Lee will be missed by many who cherished the love and friendship he shared with them.

Lee’s body will be buried in Oklahoma City at the Resurrecti­on Memorial Cemetery (7500 Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK) on Thursday, February 16th, 2017 at 4:00 pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at the San Victorio Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: 11750 San Victorio Ave NE, Albuquerqu­e, NM 87111.
