Dems should move on

Recently I read an article referring to Rep. Steve Pearce holding a “telephone town hall” instead of the traditional town hall. Mr. Joe Kabourek, executive director of the Democratic Party of New Mexico, accused Mr. Pearce of not meeting with constituents because of fear, angry people and problems with President Trump’s policies.

This could not be further from the truth. Rep. Pearce has participated many, many times over the years he has been in office . ... It’s so easy to attack and that’s all I see the Democrats doing — attack instead of coming up with answers and doing something . ...

Democrats better get over their loss, accept Mr. Trump as our president and get busy doing something constructive and stop attacking. JOANNE MELCHER Tularosa
